		<title>I HURT EVERYWHERE!!</title>

<p>If there is a muscle in my body, IT FREAKIN&#8217; HURTS!</p>
<p>I went to the gym before work..   100 push-ups, 100 squats (with 30 lbs) and 100 bench presses (with 30 lbs).  The first 50 were ok.. but I pushed myself to do the other 50.. and I regret it..  I stretched and tore muscles that I didn&#8217;t know I had.  I went to work feeling sooo sore.  But I made it through the day.   I&#8221;m hoping that tomorrow will be better.</p>
<p>I had the same ole bran and yogurt for breakfast.. I think I&#8217;m going to switch it up soon because it&#8217;s getting boring.  For dinner I had a spinach and chicken wrap and some of my pea soup.  For supper I had a baked potato and a bit of the leftover chicken from my wrap.. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   I think Sunday I&#8217;m actually going to make a nice supper for the kids and I.  I deserve it!  lol</p>

<p>I really think the fiber every morning is to me.. (I think you all know what I mean&#8230;)  I think I am going to switch to something a little less&#8230; fiberey&#8230;.lol</p>
<p>Today was assessment day!  I must say, it was less intense than I thought it would be but she really opened up my eyes to a lot of things.  As far as my diet, she says everything is as it should be.  But I also have a loooooong journey ahead of me&#8230;.</p>
<p>I was asked to do a few FULL sit-ups and I couldn&#8217;t even do one.  She asked me to do a few FULL push-ups and I couldn&#8217;t even do one.   Partials I was ok with and they will do for now, but I have a lot of strength training to do!</p>
<p><strong>Weight: 206lbs    Height: 5&#8242; 10&#8243;  &lt;&lt;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212; I have 26% body fat to lose&lt;&lt;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-</strong></p>
<p>Her recommendation, over a period of 4 months, was to focus on 3 days of strength training and 2 days of cardio.   Im&#8217; pretty sure that I can do that but i HAVE TO STAY MOTIVATED!</p>
<p><strong>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;ATTENTION READERS:  KEEP JASON MOTIVATED!&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-</strong></p>
<p>I made pea soup today, loaded with yellow split peas, green pepper, onions, celery, and tomatoes.  It made about 2 liters.  That should last me the rest of the week.</p>
<p>I work 12pm &#8211; 9 pm tomorrow.  We are hitting the gym in the morning!  STRENGTH TRAINING!  WISH ME LUCK!</p>

<p>Left work early today (around 1pm).  The snow we received last night made the store not so busy.  I was all packed ready to head to the gym but since I had time I went home first.  Had a litttle 30 minute power nap and headed to the gym.</p>
<p>Today, for the first time, I was pushed to almost my limits.  I started 20 minutes on the treadmill until cycle class.  <strong>Spin Cycle Class &#8211; 40 minutes of non-stop cycling AGONY! </strong>There we a few times that I wanted to get up and leave but since everyone else didn&#8217;t..  I felt obligated to stay.  There were a few times I had to sit when she said stand.. but HEY!?! it was my first class.  I think i did pretty damn good! Considering I forgot to take my water bottle with me.. I was pretty dry getting out of there.. lol</p>
<p>After the class, I kinda took a little break and lifted a few weights.  I started off easy (25lbs).  Sunday will be the REAL challenge when I start the Body Pump class!</p>
<p>My second session there.. and I forgot to weigh myself.  Oops..  lol  I weighed myself last week tho and I was 198.  Soo.. I&#8217;m sure Amy (the personal trainer) will go through all that with me tomorrow.  I&#8221;M SOO EXCITED!</p>
<p>I came home and has yogurt; apparently I&#8217;m supposed to have that after working out?</p>
<p>For supper, I had a spinach, carrot and green pepper wrap.  It was great.  NO more eating tonight.. unless it&#8217;s an orange. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p><strong>Determination &#8211; </strong>the act of coming to a decision or of fixing or settling a purpose.</p>
<p>I woke up this morning full of energy and ready to take on what ever stepped in my way.  I&#8217;m finally going to do this!  There&#8217;s nothing stopping me!</p>
<p>It was inevitable that dieting and lots of exercise was going to be part of the everyday ritual from here on in.  So for my &#8220;last supper&#8221; (which was breakfast), I had a bowl of ice ream and two pancakes with LOTS of syrup and butter!</p>
<p>Some people say that I think tooo far ahead when planning a trip or an event.  But I just wanted to be sure that I had all the essentials covered.  Water bottle, towel, shampoo, ipod, gym shoes, and workout attire, were among half of the things that I packed in my gym bag. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Evan was a little late getting out of bed this morning but once I got him up and ready, we were fine.  Our meeting with Jessica was scheduled for 11:30 but we HAD to stop for coffee on the way&#8230; because a morning isn&#8217;t a GOOD morning without coffee!  Let&#8217;s face it .. it&#8217;s the placebo of life!</p>
<p>11:00 am:  ok so we were early.. but she was able to fit us in no prob!  Signup was a breeze and after the tour we were on our way.  We even signed up for a free one hour with Amy, the person trainer, scheduled for Thursday.  So since I never really had a lot of direction, I stuck with cardio the first day.  20 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes  cycling, and 20 minutes step ups.  Phew!  For the first day, what a energy drainer.  But I feel sooo much better and more alert!  And I&#8217;m sure it will get even better!  I&#8217;m not sure if it harmed the workout or not, but I indulged in a energy drink when I was done.. .. ..  &#8230; maybe I should stick to water&#8230;apparently chocolate milk is the best??</p>
<p>For supper, I&#8217;ve decided to have a chicken and sun dried tomato wrap with a garden salad.  For dessert, some fat free yogurt and mixed fruit!  No more food after 8:00 pm I&#8217;m told&#8230;.shouldn&#8217;t be a problem&#8230;..until tomorrow&#8230;. &#8230;. let&#8217;s see how the night goes&#8230;</p>
